Around the 19 week point we went for an ultrasound to make sure all's well and find out the gender. To make things a little more fun we asked the ultrasound technician to keep the gender a secret and write it down for us so that we could find out together over lunch. We watched the whole ultrasound and had no idea what the gender was. At the end the tech handed us an envelope with the gender inside and said that she and another tech agreed that they were 100% certain of the gender. We took the envelope to the Parisian crepe place where we had our first date and opened it together.
IT'S A BOY !! (as you may have gathered from our blog title)
We both had a feeling it was a boy - not sure why. Can you see his little open mouth? We saw him yawn just before this. Well, it looked like a yawn anyway. Unborn babies yawn? Who knew?

I agree - the 3d ultrasound is so amazing. It is neat to see the baby so clear!! We sure have a lot of boy energy in our family :)
